This meeting is being held in conjunction with the 15th state-wide meeting of the Forum on Engineering Technology. This forum is designed to address the issues concerning technological education. FLATE, Florida - Advanced Technological Education Center for Manufacturing, and Hillsborough Community College (HCC) are hosting this event. The principal attendees are the department heads and the leaders of the Engineering Technology programs (Community College) in the State of Florida. The Thursday afternoon session will provide opportunities for the attendees to meet and mix with local vendors and participate in their miniworkshops, network with colleagues and community college faculty from across the state. Then, prior to the actual IAC meeting, there is a reception scheduled to allow the Forum attendees to socialize with the members of the FLATE IAC.
