 HCC
and 10 other community and technical colleges are participating
in a
Pilot program to implement training for highly automated systems.
The schools worked for 18 months with a design team from SMC
International Training, Intel, MATEC
(Maricopa Advanced Technological Education Center in Tempe Arizona)
to develop the new platform. Ten new HAS 200 systems were delivered
to the pilot schools during the winter of 2004. FLATE partnered
with HCC to host a one and a half day automation workshop. Twenty
people from industry and academia attended. |
