The FL-ATE 3 principal investigators hosted the National Science
Foundation Site Visit Team, Mr. Duncan McBride, from NSF, Washington
D.C. and Duncan Shields from Ball Aerospace in Denver CO, for
2 days in late February 2004. The site visit was one more method
that NSF uses to evaluate proposals for Centers and large scale
projects. The visiting team met with the planning teams, members
of the HCC, USF and SPC administrations, faculty, students as
well as the members of the planning team and the all senior
personnel.
